More Israel from Home (including information about Today’s Free Online Concert Featuring Idan Raichel!)

Hi everyone,

I hope that you and your families are healthy!

Most of you have had to postpone travel plans. While disappointing, it’s really OK. Now is a great time to plan for Passover and to learn about different workshops in Israel that are available when you do get to visit.

But Israel with Love recognizes that Israelis are also limited as to where they can travel. Many are looking for activities that are appropriate and fun for their children who are home for a few weeks. So, in today’s blog post, Israel with Love will include artists who are delivering kits to people stuck at home in Israel as well as well as those who create items that can be delivered abroad.
So, sit back with a glass of wine and enjoy!

1. Some of you may be familiar with Nina Brenner and her Paint Party Events Israel. Vivacious Nina organizes paint parties for people of all ages; from small children’s birthday parties to corporate events to retirement parties, Nina brings her energy as well as her paint brushes to each individually tailored event. For most people, the restrictions would have put a damper on their energy. But not Nina! She has created paint party packages to go. If you live in central Israel, you can call her and she’ll deliver paints, brushes, canvases and instructions so that you an create your own paint parties at home. What a great way to enjoy the family time we all crave! Contact Nina today either on Facebook or https://www.paintpartyevents.com/ via her website . You’ll be so happy you did!

2. Esti Schuster is another woman who just won’t take no for an answer. So, when her work as a massage therapist came to a halt, she didn’t stop for a minute. Knowing that her career involved violating the social distancing requirement, she turned to her passion of healthy cooking. And, in just a few short weeks, Esti has created Esti’s Kitchen. This is a great service for people trying to work from home, take care of children and trying to provide healthy delicious meals for their families. All food is made in a kosher kitchen and the meat is Mehadrin. You can find her on Facebook or connect with her on Whatsapp https://chat.whatsapp.com/D4LgqPGzspnCTxDSCtodpm

3.Miriam Lottner is the creator of Reveal Cards, a great series of games that are so much fun that your children won’t even realize how much they’re learning. These are great presents for children in and out of Israel. What a perfect afikoman present! You can order them at http://revealcards.com/

4. Israel with Love always enjoys touring the mystial city of Tzfat with clients. Perched on one of Israel’s tallest peaks, this ancient city is filled with charming alleyways and wonderful cobble stone streets. One of my favorite spots is the gallery of Avraham Lowenthal. Avraham is a warm, talented artist who loves sharing his journey of a childhood on America’s Midwest to a life of art and kabbalah in the northern Galilee mountains. If you’re looking for an extra special gift, Avraham’s online store might provide the perfect solution. https://www.kabbalahart.com/store/

5. And, in just a little more than 2 hours, famed Israel folk musician Idan Raichel will perform a free live-stream concert at 4:00 PM  Eastern Standard Time.. If you aren’t familiar with his music, now’s a great time to change that. And if, like us, you’re already a fan, what a great way indulge in some wonderful music on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
